The Hungarian
School and Preschool Cork aims to

We are committed to nurturing and preserving
the Hungarian language, culture and traditions
passed down through generations.
Throughout the school year, we introduce children to Hungarian customs and celebrations,
helping them understand, experience and carry these traditions forward.
Enrolment
Enrolment for both the school and preschool takes place twice a year. The next enrolment deadline is 30 August 2026.
About Our School
The Hungarian School and Preschool Cork were established on 12 September 2010. We began with just 13 pupils at Nasc (the Irish Immigrant Support Centre) in Cork city centre.
As our community has grown, so has our school. Today, we rent classrooms in a local primary school, providing a welcoming and age-appropriate learning environment for our children.
Classes are held on Sundays from 10:00 to 13:00, approximately 26 times during the school year, from September to the end of May. We welcome children aged 3 to 14, helping them develop their Hungarian language skills while staying connected to Hungarian culture, traditions and their heritage.
